William is Ex-Military and served in the U.S. Army. William was then called back to active duty in support of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. William served with the 101st Airborne at Ft Campbell KY. William also was a range safety officer & Firearms Instructor teaching range safety and marksmanship to U.S. Army basic trainees at Fort Jackson SC. William has been teaching people how to safely handle and shoot pistols and Rifles for over 25 years. William taught students from all different backgrounds including future police officers, U.S. Army basic trainees, U.S. Army Active Duty Soldiers, house wives, business professionals, and even grandmothers. William is a Certified NRA Firearms Instructor, NRA Chief Range Safety Officer, NRA Personal Protection in the Home Instructor, NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Instructor, NRA Rifle Instructor, NRA Shotgun Instructor and Utah CCW Pistol Permit Instructor. William teaches the NRA Basic Pistol Course required by the State of Connecticut and Many other states. This class is the first step in obtaining your gun permit. NRA Basic Pistol Course requires a minimum of 48 rounds of live fire. Live fire is very important don't except anything less than what is required by the NRA Basic Pistol Course.

Brent is a certified Instructor through the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection and Special License and Firearms Unit of the Connecticut State Police. He is Certified through the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification as a Firearm Instructor. National Rifle Association Certified Firearms Instructor and Range Safety Officer. With years of teaching and shooting experience his enthusiasm and focus on gun safety makes the classroom experience, knowledgeable, fun and enjoyable. Prior to Firearms Instructing Brent was a Professional MMA Fighter under American Top Team and holds a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Luigi Mondelli, Brown Belt in Judo and has years of boxing and wrestling experience. Taught extensively in hand-to-hand combat with Military, Law Enforcement and Civilian personnel. Brent is passionate about teaching Law and keeping the public informed and knowledgeable on Connecticut State Legislation.
Nathan is from Sidney, Maine. He enlisted into the Army at the age of 19 and served in the 11th Airborne Infantry Division in Anchorage, Alaska for nearly four years. Nathan has over twenty high performance combat jumps in temperatures as low as -60 degrees F. Nathan has had various advanced weapons and combat training. He is an expert marksman with the following: M4A1 Carbine, M249 Saw Machine Gun, Mossberg 500 Shotgun and 320 Grenade Launcher. He is also Combat Life Saver qualified. Serving as a Weapons Team Leade, Nathan was in charge of the crew served 240L Machine gun along with a four man crew. Nathan is an adaptable and efficient student. He is able to be trained quickly with many weapons systems and teach those skills to others.
Matthew is passionate about firearms and firearm safety, and with his years of experience, gives each student the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to be successful in the course and to become a competent firearm owner. Matthew is certified through the National Rifle Association as a Certified Pistol Instructor, as well the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification, and by the Connecticut State Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection as a Certified State Firearms Instructor. Matthew has taught thousands of students, and his exceptional experience and knowledge both in the classroom and on the range, assures all classes taught at Connecticut Firearms Training LLC are a safe, informative and fun experience. Whether it’s during a one-on-one private instruction, or during group courses, whether large medium or small, Matthew gives each student his full attention to guarantee you leave the class with all proper tools and information needed to become a more capable firearm owner, as well as prepare you for more advanced personal protection and defensive courses.
